Patterns are finally emerging that are peaceful for both baby and momma. And at this point, momma, who has been asleep for more than one hour probably once or twice in the last 6-7 days, welcomes the respite as much as Hollis. All words ever written describing the peace it brings to see a sleeping baby are true.

We are happy to announce that Hollis Caroline Hughen was born at 6:25am on Monday morning, October 15.
7 pounds, 7 ounces, and 20 inches.
Hollis has her Mom’s beautiful eyes and her Dad’s feet.
Emily is just fine and resting comfortably after doing a spectacular job. Jay is in awe of both girls.
