3 generations of 2 families enjoyed each others company this (post) Christmas season. And Hollis is now a member of the frequent flyer program! The girls enjoyed a trip to Toledo-by-way-of-Detroit before jet setting down to balmy Florida for some Disney-fied action with Dad, Uncle Matto, Mary, Gram & Pop. Hollis’ first road trip was a great success. Hi C and her mom & dad crossed desert plains to see Gram, Pop & Uncle Matt. Hollis cut her first tooth and everyone else ate pizza and took in modern art & desert gardens.
There are few things in life as profoundly joyous as placing your infant child in the arms of an adoring grandparent for the first time. Hollis met grandmom Ellen and granddad Jim (and Uncle Matt!) on Saturday, October 20, at the tender age of 5 days. It had been 40+ years since either had held a family member that young, but both took to it like seasoned pros.
