As much as this day is about enjoying the presents (and presence), this year, it is about what it took to be here. One year and four(!) addresses ago we began the process to find a new home. You’ve handled it with patience and understanding beyond your years. Today, we celebrate our new location with Christmas decorations and pancakes. Let this be the first of many here. Hollis, I love you and our journey together!
Big thanks to everyone who came out to the “Fireworks Party”! At 8:45, we gave all the kiddos a huge ice cream cone to sugar em up, then handed out glowy wristbands. So we had hyper spastic levels right before the fireworks display started. Planned it out kinda brilliantly actually. Most of em crashed directly after. Hollis on the other hand, stayed up past midnight. It could not have been a better day~
One legendary weekend including: bouncing, climbing, hiking, nature centers, making pancakes, movie theatres, scootering, a birthday party, trains, fro yo, slime, 2 face painting designs – and one grateful Dad.

Celebrating FIVE years of Hollis in what shall henceforth be referred to as the “Festival Of Bouncey House”! We all jumped, played, sang, gave Olaf a warm hug, and jumped some more. The transition into big kid-hood begins~
When I am old(er) and in need of a lift, I will simply click play on this rendition of a 4 1/2 year old Hollis singing Happy Birthday to Daddy. It will very likely generate even more emotion than it did when I first heard it yesterday. (and by “emotion”, I mean I was leaking a clear fluid from my orbital- ok, I was crying…)
